Hotel 't Zwaantje is part of Ros Leisure Group, a genuine family business that has been active in the leisure industry in the Callantsoog region since 1954. Day-to-day management is in the hands of hotel manager Puk. She looks forward to welcoming you to our friendly hotel, where personal attention comes first.
"As hotel manager, I am proud of what Hotel 't Zwaantje is: one of the first hotels to be built completely gas-free. With plenty of solar panels on the roof, we are not only sustainable and environmentally friendly, but also fully ready for the future.
Our location is just as special. We are right in the centre of Callantsoog, within walking distance of both the village centre and the beach. And this is no ordinary beach: wide, clean and ideal for young and old alike. Callantsoog is a small, friendly seaside resort with lovely shops, restaurants and cafés — there is always something to do. Travelling by public transport? The bus stop to and from Schagen is just 50 metres from our door."

Schagen is a lively town close to Callantsoog. The town's shopping centre offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy a drink on one of the many terraces. During the summer months you can visit the 'West Frisian Market' on Thursdays, a unique event featuring a colourful procession of people in traditional West Frisian costume. They ride on farm carts, sjezen (traditional two-wheeled carriages) and landaus, drawn by beautiful horses.
Besides Schagen there are many other interesting outings near Callantsoog to explore. You could take a day trip to Texel, for instance, and enjoy the beautiful beaches, local dishes and nature. You can also visit the museums in Den Helder and Hoorn and learn more about the rich history and culture of the region. And do not forget the famous cheese market in Alkmaar, held on Fridays — a fascinating local tradition you will not want to miss.
